MICROFAK

The MICROFAK (Micro First Aid Kit) was designed to add the ability to carry supplemental medical supplies directly with a Tourniquet (TQ), without sacrificing space. All too often, a TQ is mounted to the belt, or kit with no other medical present, which is a concern if rapid treatment is needed outside of just a TQ application.

The low profile, modular design allows the user to mount the MICROFAK to either a belt system, wide gear straps, or MOLLE systems in either a horizontal or vertical position.

A unique pull tab rapid deployment system makes access to the items you need quickly. Pulling the tab behind the TQ will move a reloadable tray outward, exposing any needed medical items within the pouch.

Carry any combination of items you would like. Keep in mind, because of the compact nature of the design as intended, this will not hold a full IFAK, and items such as chest seals will not fit the compartment unless folded (Not recommended). The ideal combination would be a pair of Bear Claw gloves or similar with a QuikClot Combat Gauze and Wound Packing Gauze. Note that it will be a snug fit as intended.

Mil-Spec 5664 Elastic holds a standard Combat Application Tourniquet, with an additional slot for a decompression needle, sharpie, or similar. The easily removable hood sits over the top part of the TQ to ensure protection from the elements. A dedicated slot behind the TQ provides space for adding a pair of trauma shears, where they will stay secure until removal.

Comes with the MICROFAK and 13" length of Velcro One Wrap (Cut to size to fit what you need).
