Policies

Warranty Policy

I do my very best to ensure the highest quality products are produced for use under the most extreme conditions. Each item produced by Stoic Innovations is handmade and sewn with great care and precision. These same items are also inspected for any issues that may arise before they ship out, ensuring your gear makes it to you in a perfect and usable condition.

Sometimes, while extremely rare, gear can fail. This is where the warranty steps in. The warranty covers any gear failure due to craftsmanship. The warranty does NOT cover normal wear and tear, intentional damage,theft, loss, or malfunction due to misuse or neglect. Stoic Innovations will repair or replace the product at its discretion. Items that are discontinued where a new version is available will receive the most updated version unless a repair is possible. Please note that the warranty only covers the original customer and does not transfer. Please note that you are responsible for any shipping fees associated with sending your product back.

Lead Times

While some items are stocked and ready to ship, others are made to order. Items that are made to order hold a lead time ranging from 1 to 6 weeks. This is an estimate and is subject to change based on the amount of pending orders and material sourcing. If you have concerns about the lead time and would like to know the approximate build time for your order, please send an email.

Orders

By placing an order, you agree to and consent to the understanding of all lead times, cancellation, warranty, shipping, and refund policies. Fully custom orders outside of products offered on the online store require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. This deposit will apply towards the total price of the order. If the order is paid in full, the deposit is included in the full amount. Custom orders will commence once a down payment is received to include any design and prototyping, ordering and cutting of materials. Unfortunately, because of possible losses due to time and materials, this down payment is mandatory for all custom orders.

If you need to cancel an order, you may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 30% which includes the loss of the 50% deposit. To avoid any cancelation fees that may be assessed, please be sure to double-check your order before placing it. If you need to make any changes to your order, please contact me as soon as possible, however not all orders can be changed once certain steps in the process are complete. *Moving forward, any non-custom, made to order products ordered through the website will be assessed a 10% cancellation fee. 

Return and Refund Policy

Returns are accepted under a 10-business-day from delivered status date policy. In order to initiate a return, your item must be the same condition that it was when it was shipped. This includes unused, and in any packaging it may have come in. You will also need to provide your original order information and proof of purchase. Please note that custom orders cannot be returned. Discontinued, closeout items or orders purchased with gift cards cannot be returned. Once you contact me and your return has been approved, you will receive a refund to your original payment method excluding any transaction fees or shipping costs as these are non-refundable. Uninsured lost orders are the responsibility of the United States Postal Service and are not eligible for a refund. Your refund may take up to 10 business days from the date of issuance to clear your bank account.

Shipping

All items are shipped in the order they are received. As soon as your order is placed, your item(s) are built/processed, packaged, and shipped. I ship most small single-item orders under $100 via United States Postal Service Ground Advantage. If you need a faster shipping method, please contact me as soon as possible to upgrade after placing your order. All orders totaling $100 or more are automatically upgraded to USPS Priority (Or equivalent) with FULL insurance at no additional cost to you. Please note that once an item is scanned in by the shipping carrier, it is no longer my responsibility. While I can not control shipping carriers service, I will
always do my best to ensure you as a customer are reasonably accomodated.
